큰 창으로 쏟아지는 햇볕을 잘게 부셔서 수증기처럼 올리는 수영장이 있습니다. 바닥의 타일은 그 두께를 달리하면서 물을 담고 있습니다. 흰 타일은 흡사 빙산의 모서리처럼 보이기 도 합니다. 빙산이 녹아서 쪼개진 모양처럼 타일은 덩이를 부수고 모아서 때로는 의자가 되고 때로는 등받이가 된 채, 나누어 물을 담고 있습니다. 집을 짓듯 통나무를 쌓아 만든 사우나에서 데워진 몸으로 시원한 물을 바라보는 것. 빛과 시원한 물이 가득한 수영장에서 더운 물과 시원한 바람이 드는 이어진 창가의 욕조로 몸을 옮기는 것. 또한 모든 것을 경험한 채, 윗층의 침실에 편히 몸을 누이고 창으로 전해지는 웃음소리를 듣는 것. 이는 (상像이 망막을 만지는 것을 포함해서) ‘만져지는 모든 감각’을 동원하여 풍경을 살피는 경험인지도 모르겠습니다.

There is a swimming pool evaporating sunlight which comes from the large window by breaking it into small pieces. The tiles on the floor contain the water varying the depth of it. White tiles may look like the edge of an iceberg. They become the chair or the back of it by breaking and gathering the mass shaped like a melting iceberg and each of them keeps the water. Looking at cool water in the sauna which is made of stacked logs like a house; moving the body to the bathtub next to the window in the swimming pool which is full of light and cool water; and also experiencing all of the things and hearing the sounds of the laughter from the window; lying down and relaxing the body in the bedroom. All of these may be the experience to being aware of the landscape by using ‘all the palpable senses’.
